.
All the models in the “Intarsio” collection are obtained using hand-shaped agglomerated cork rectangles. Each single piece is then glued manually following the geometry of the design which requires the two rectangles to be positioned in an opposing horizontal and vertical manner. The final result is a sort of intertwining where the manual assembly and the shades of cork contribute to giving the design an elegance that enhances any environment it is installed in.
The installation of the panels is very simple and does not require particular requirements for installation, in fact thanks to the particular structure of our panels it is sufficient to apply the glue only on the panel and not on the wall as happens with the majority of cork panels currently present on the market. By following our instructions you will be able to quickly install each model from our collections without dirtying or creating inconveniences in the environments where you are going to install our products.
Product description:
Panel dimensions: mm. 600×600 – Thickness mm. 25
Small rectangles mm. 75×37 irregularly shaped by hand and laminated on an MDF panel. The cork used for decorations is obtained from scraps resulting from the production of corks.
The MDF panel is class CARB/2 “California air resources boards” which complies with the very low standards imposed for formaldehyde emissions.
The anti-vibration cork layer has the function of limiting vibrations and facilitating the adhesion of the panel to the wall or surface to be covered.
Both the glues and paints used are water-based and do not contain formaldehyde or toxic substances harmful to the environment.
