Some people does not know cork oak trees represent a very precious ecosystem in which various species of birds and animals find their home, some at high risk of extinction. Furthermore, the management of cork forests and the harvesting of the bark from the oaks is an activity that protects our territory. Cork is also renewable and 100% recyclable, breathable, antistatic, extremely light, elastic, hypoallergenic, waterproof, anti-mould and rot-proof.

All the models in our collections are unique as they made from natural cork coming from the lush Sardinian cork forests. All the geometric and linear shapes used for the various models are handmade by expert artisans. Our experience gained in 56 years of activity allows us not to alter the natural characteristics of this generous product by using predefined molds or shapes to speed up production and offer our customers a product made on an assembly line.

Each of our products tells the story of how the cork bark used on that panel regenerated itself during the 10 years spent waiting to mature. If the cork oak was exposed to the sun, the color of the cork will tend towards light blonde, but if the plant was surrounded by vegetation, the color of the cork will be more dark blonde until light brown. All these shades, once assembled on our models, create color variations that make each panel unique and inimitable.

In addition to its decorative characteristics, cork has always been one of the best thermo-acoustic insulators ever. Suffice it to say that only 3 mm of cork can reduce up to 10 db of noise. Using cork to cover a wall is not just covering a surface giving it a different appearance or color but above all it is living with a natural product that will bring the nature into your home.
